My Bio
Rachael is an experienced and compassionate clinician with licenses in Ohio and Illinois. Rachael has her Independent license in Chemical Dependency, License in Social Work, License in Professional Counseling in the state of Ohio. Her license in profession counseling has reciprocity in Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Minor in Theatre Arts from Ohio University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministries and a Master of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Rachael received two Student Enrichment Program scholarships while in her master’s program to study Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and completed the advanced program. She is currently taking classes for certification in ADHD and ADD assessment and working towards her RYT200 in yoga with specialization in yoga for trauma, meditation, and wellness coaching. Rachael holds space for her clients, allowing them to do the work while gently guiding them on their own path for their unique journey.

Rachael is very passionate about her work and wants to help individuals gain insight and understandingin their own challenges and strengths, as well as, their limits and abilities. As a proponent for the use ofholistic healing, Rachael is currently studying for her certifications in RYT200 yoga, yoga for trauma,meditation, and wellness coaching. Rachael specializes in behavioral and mental health, substanceuse/abuse/dependence, and trauma and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization andReprocessing) therapy. She is an advocate for Social and Racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, diversity,inequality, and equality. Regardless of the difficulties life hands you, there is always a solution or achange which can happen. Rachael will help you find the way to see the positive in every outcome –even if it is not what you wanted or expected. Rachael specializes in multiple areas but has specialinterests in substance use/abuse disorders, trauma and abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues, and those harmed orhurt by the church, religion, or other various organized groups and wanting to be heard. When workingwith Rachael you will experience an eclectic approach which is empathetic, honest, and non-judgmental,while providing a caring, safe place to travel on your path to healing and wholeness.
