Clinical Therapist

My Bio

William is a Licensed Social Worker who graduated with his bachelor’s degree and masters degree in

2021 and 2022, respectively. He has served in the United States’ military since 2006, which has included travel throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, as well as throughout the United States. During this time, due to his transient lifestyle, William honed his ability to cultivate meaningful connections with people from various cultures and backgrounds. William believes everyone has a unique combination lock to protect their thoughts, feelings, and will; and once unlocked, the answers to one’s troubles are discovered.

About Me

What a session feels like with me

William values authenticity, comfort and transparency and understands meaningful connection can only occur in these conditions. He has said, “when an individual feels like they are in a clinical, or medical setting, it shows. I try to create an environment where the client knows they are speaking to a clinician but feels they are talking to a close friend. It’s at that intersection, where therapy happens.”

Client Focus and Specializations

Since serving as a Clinical Therapist, William has collaborated with clients, ranging from children to

middle-aged adults. He has experience working with individuals experiencing chronic depression and anxiety, members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as individuals with circumstantial challenges that arise when adjusting to life’s ever-changing tide. Understanding the multitude of roles a person can assume throughout a day, he primarily uses an eclectic approach with his clients.

Modalities

William utilizes the following evidence-based treatment modalities:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Solution Focused

  • Person-centered therapy

  • Ecological counseling

I look forward to joining you on your journey as you navigate your way through life’s challenges.
